MAXIMUM PRICES (MAGAZINES) (No. 3) ORDER, 1990.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 22A and 22C (inserted by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965)) of the Prices Act, 1958 (No. 4 of 1958), as amended by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1972 (No. 20 of 1972), and the Prices Stabilisation Order, 1973 (No. 96 of 1973), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Magazines) (No. 3) Order, 1990.

2. (1) The maximum price at which a magazine mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule to this Order, at any of the following reference numbers, that is to say 1, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9, may be sold shall be the price mentioned in column (3) of that Schedule at that magazine title.

(2) This paragraph shall come into operation on the 28th day of August, 1990.

3. (1) The maximum price at which a magazine mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule to this Order, at the following reference number, that is to say 10, may be sold shall be the price mentioned in column (3) of that Schedule at that magazine title.

(2) This paragraph shall come into operation on the 29th day of August, 1990.

5. (1) The maximum price at which a magazine mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule to this Order, at the following reference number, that is to say 7, may be sold shall be the price mentioned in column (3) of that Schedule at that magazine title.

(2) This paragraph shall come into operation on the 4th day of September, 1990.

6. (1) The maximum price at which a magazine mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule to this Order, at the following reference number, that is to say 2, may be sold shall be the price mentioned in column (3) of that Schedule at that magazine title.

(2) This paragraph shall come into operation on the 10th day of September, 1990.

7. (1) The maximum price at which a magazine mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule to this Order, at the following reference number, that is to say 5, may be sold shall be the price mentioned in column (3) of that Schedule at that magazine title.

(2) This paragraph shall come into operation on the 11th day of September, 1990.

8. The Maximum Prices (Magazines) Order, 1990 ( S.I. No. 200 of 1990 ) is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order fixes the maximum retail price for certain specified magazine titles.
