SHANNON NAVIGATION ACT, 1990 (VESTING DAY) ORDER, 1990.

I, ALBERT REYNOLDS, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 9 of the Shannon Navigation Act, 1990 (No. 20 of 1990), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Shannon Navigation Act, 1990 (Vesting Day) Order, 1990.

2. The twentieth day of August, 1990, is hereby appointed to be the vesting day for the purposes of the Shannon Navigation Act, 1990 (No. 20 of 1990).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints 20 August, 1990 as the vesting day, under the Shannon Navigation Act, 1990 , for the transfer of the section of the Ballinamore and Ballyconnell navigation within the State and the associated property etc. to the Commissioners of Public Works and for the incorporation of that navigation and of the Erne and Lough Oughter navigation in the Shannon Navigation.
