AQUACULTURE (ST. JOHN'S POINT) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1990.

I, JOHN P. WILSON, Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 5 and 54 of the Fisheries Act, 1980 (No. 1 of 1980 ) (as adapted by the Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 82 of 1987 )), and by the Communications (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 91 of 1987 )), and being satisfied that it is in the public interest that the order be made, hereby order as follows:

1. The Aquaculture (St. John's Point) Order, 1988 ( S.I. No. 318 of 1988 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order revokes the Aquaculture (St. John's Point) Order, 1988 which designates parts of the area of sea known as St. John's Point as being areas within which it shall be lawful to engage in aquaculture pursuant to a licence issued by the Minister for the Marine.
