TRAVEL AGENTS (LICENSING) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1989.

I, JOHN P. WILSON, Minister for Tourism and Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Sections 7 and 25 of the Transport (Tour Operators and Travel Agents) Act, 1982 (No. 3 of 1982), and the Communications (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 92 of 1987 ) hereby make the following Regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Travel Agents (Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations, 1989.

(2) The Travel Agents (Licensing) Regulations, 1983 to 1988, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Travel Agents (Licensing) Regulations, 1983 to 1989.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1989.

3. The Travel Agents (Licensing) Regulations, 1983 ( S.I. No. 101 of 1983 ), are hereby amended by—

( a ) the insertion at the head of the Second Schedule after the words "Travel Agent's Licence" the following "No. T. A...........";

( b ) the deletion in paragraph 7 of the General Conditions in the Second Schedule of the words "in the State".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations provide for technical amendments to the form of a travel agent's licence.
