WORKER PARTICIPATION (STATE ENTERPRISES) ACTS, 1977 AND 1988 (APPOINTED DAY) (AER RIANTA) ORDER, 1989.

I, BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 (1) of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Acts, 1977 and 1988 (Appointed Day) (Aer Rianta) Order, 1989.

2. The 1st day of May, 1989 is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of section 6 [as amended by section 10 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises] Act, 1988 (No. 13 of 1988)] of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), in relation to Aer Rianta cuideachta phoibli theoranta.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order prescribes the appointed day for determining election years for Aer Rianta cuideachta phoiblí theoranta under the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Acts, 1977 and 1988.
