COURTS-MARTIAL (LEGAL AID) REGULATIONS, 1989

I, MICHAEL J. NOONAN, Minister for Defence, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 33 of the Courts-Martial Appeals Act, 1983 (No. 19 of 1983), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Courts-Martial (Legal Aid) Regulations, 1989.

2. The Courts-Martial (Legal Aid) Regulations, 1986 ( S.I. No. 425 of 1986 ), as amended by the Courts-Martial (Legal Aid) Regulations, 1988 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1988 ), are hereby amended with effect from the 1st day of January, 1989

( a ) by the substitution in Regulation 12 (2) (a) of "£101.72" for "£99.24" and of "£45.24" for "£44.14", and

( b ) by the substitution in Regulation 14 of "£26.37" for "£25.73".
