AIR POLLUTION ACT, 1987 (AUTHORISED FIREPLACE) REGULATIONS, 1988.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 10 and section 40 (2) of the Air Pollution Act, 1987 (No. 6 of 1987), hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Air Pollution Act, 1987 (Authorised Fireplace) Regulations, 1988.

2. It is hereby declared that fireplaces of the class known as the Full Burning Open Fire Boiler and distributed by Coal Distributors Limited shall be authorised fireplaces for the purposes of the Special Control Area (Ballyfermot) Order, 1988 made by the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of Dublin as confirmed with modification by the Special Control Area (Ballyfermot) Order, 1988 (Confirmation) Order, 1988 ( S.I. No. 282 of 1988 ).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations declare the Full Burning Fire as an authorised fireplace for use in the special control area designated in the Special Control Area (Ballyfermot) Order, 1988.
