Amendment of section 169 of Principal Act.

11.—Section 169 of the Principal Act (as amended by the Act of 1980) is hereby amended by the substitution of “salmon, trout or coarse fish” for “salmon or trout”, and the said section, as so amended, is set out in the Table to this section.

169. If any person dams, teems or empties any river or mill race for the purpose of taking or destroying any salmon, trout or coarse fish, such person shall be guilty of an offence under this section and shall be liable on summary conviction thereof to a fine not exceeding £500.
