ROAD TRANSPORT ACT, 1986 (COMMENCEMENT) (No. 3) ORDER, 1986.

I, JIM MITCHELL, Minister for Communications, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 21 of the Road Transport Act, 1986 , (No. 16 of 1986), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Transport Act, 1986 (Commencement) (No. 3) Order, 1986.

2. The 23rd day of December, 1986, is hereby fixed as the day on which section 11 of the Road Transport Act, 1986 , shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring into operation Section 11 of the Road Transport Act, 1986 relating to the death or incapacity of a holder of a carrier's licence.
