STATE FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS (SPECIAL PROVISIONS) ACT, 1984 (SECTION 2 (2)) (CESSER) ORDER, 1986.

I, JOHN BRUTON, Minister for Finance, having ceased to be satisfied that, owing to special circumstances of a temporary nature, it is not possible to operate the Exchequer Account in accordance with the provisions of the Exchequer and Audit Departments Act, 1866, or to operate certain State accounts or to carry out certain other financial transactions on behalf of the State, hereby, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 (1) (b) of the State Financial Transactions (Special Provisions) Act, 1984 (No. 23 of 1984), order as follows:

1. This order may be cited as the State Financial Transactions (Special Provisions) Act, 1984 (Section 2 (2)) (Cesser) Order, 1986.

2. The 17th day of October, 1986, is hereby appointed as the day on which subsection (2) of section 2 of the State Financial Transactions (Special Provisions) Act, 1984 (No. 23 of 1984), shall cease to be in force.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order specifies the date on which Section 2 (2) of the State Financial Transactions (Special Provisions) Act, 1984 , ceases to be in force.
