CORK DISTRICT MILK BOARD (MINIMUM PRICES FOR MILK) ORDER, 1986.

I, AUSTIN DEASY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 43 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 (No. 43 of 1936), section 22 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) (Amendment) Act, 1941 (No. 11 of 1941), and the Agriculture and Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 31 of 1977 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Cork District Milk Board (Minimum Prices for Milk) Order, 1986, and shall come into operation on the 6th day of June, 1986.

2. In this Order—

"registered producers" means persons registered in the register of producers kept by the Cork District Milk Board;

"registered retailers" means persons registered in the register of retailers kept by the Cork District Milk Board;

"registered wholesalers" means persons registered in the register of wholesalers kept by the Cork District Milk Board.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

4. The Cork District Milk Board (Minimum Prices for Milk) Order, 1985 ( S.I. No. 185 of 1985 ), is hereby revoked.

5. The minimum prices to be paid to registered producers for milk sold by them to registered wholesalers and registered retailers shall be at the rate shown in the Schedule to this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order prescribes the minimum prices to be paid to registered producers, as from 6th June 1986 for milk sold by them to registered wholesalers and registered retailers in the Cork District.
