BEER (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1986.

The Revenue Commissioners, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 6 of the Finance Act, 1914 (Session 2), hereby make the following Regulations:

1. (i) These Regulations may be cited as the Beer (Amendment) Regulations, 1986.

(ii) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1986.

2. The Regulations dated the 5th day of November, 1915 (No. 1059 of 1915), and made by the Commissioners of Customs and Excise under section 6 of the Finance Act, 1914 (Session 2), are hereby amended by the substitution for Regulation 17 of the following Regulation:—

"17. Subject to the provisions of these Regulations and to such conditions as the Commissioners may think fit to impose in any particular case, beer deposited in a warehouse may be subjected to the following operations, that is to say, vatting, racking, blending, bottling, fining, colouring, or priming and to any other operation as the Commissioners may from time to time approve."

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations provide that home brewed beer may be subjected in warehouse to such operations as may be approved by the Revenue Commissioners.
