GAS REGULATION ACT, 1982 (REMOVAL OF DIFFICULTIES) ORDER, 1985.

The Minister for Energy, in exercise of the power conferred on him by Section 12 of the Gas Regulation Act, 1982 (No. 16 of 1982), and the Industry and Energy (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1983 ( S.I. No. 385 of 1983 ), hereby makes the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Gas Regulation Act, 1982 (Removal of Difficulties) Order, 1985.

2. It is hereby declared that Section 204 of the Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963), applies in a case where a transferor company (within the meaning of that Section) is an undertaker within the meaning of the Gas Regulation Act, 1982 (No. 16 of 1982).
