Export Promotion (Amendment) Act, 1983

Amendment of section 4 of Export Promotion Act, 1959.

1.—The following subsection is hereby substituted for subsection (1) of section 4 of the Export Promotion Act, 1959 :

“(1) (a) It shall be the duty of the Board to promote, assist and develop in any manner in which the Board considers necessary or desirable the exportation of goods and the provision of such services as are specified from time to time by order made by the Minister.

(b) The Minister may by order amend or revoke an order under this section.”.
