POST OFFICE SAVINGS BANK REGULATIONS, 1921 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1982.

I, JOHN P. WILSON, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section II of the Post Office Savings Bank Act, 1861, and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Post Office Savings Bank Regulations, 1921 (Amendment) Regulations, 1982.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 25th day of June, 1982.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. Regulation 45 of the Post Office Savings Bank Regulations, 1921, is hereby amended by the substitution of "£50" for "£30" (inserted by Regulation 3 (1) of the Post Office Savings Bank Regulations, 1921 (Amendment) Regulations, 1969 ( S.I. No. 57 of 1969 )).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations increase the amount which may be withdrawn on demand from £30 to £50.
