TELEGRAPH (INLAND WRITTEN TELEGRAM) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1982.

I, JOHN P. WILSON, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Telegraph Act, 1885, hereby make, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, the following regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Telegraph (Inland Written Telegram) (Amendment) Regulations, 1982.

(2) The Telegraph (Inland Written Telegram) Regulations, 1980 and 1981 and these Regulations may be cited together as the Telegraph (Inland Written Telegram) Regulations, 1980 to 1982.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1982.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

4. The Telegraph (Inland Written Telegram) Regulations, 1980, are hereby amended by the substitution of the following Schedule for the Schedule thereto (inserted by Regulation 4 of the Telegraph (Inland Written Telegram) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1981 ( S.I. No. 296 of 1981 )):
