S.I. No. 382/1981 - European Communities (Non-Automatic Weighing Machines) (Amendment) Regulations, 1981.

I, John Kelly, Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving effect to Council Directive No. 73/360/EEC of 19th November, 1973¹ , and Commission Directive No. 76/696/EEC of 27th July, 1976² , hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Non-Automatic Weighing Machines) (Amendment) Regulations, 1981.

2. Regulation 5(1) of the European Communities (Non-Automatic Weighing Machines) Regulations, 1979 ( S.I. No. 128 of 1979 ), is hereby amended by the substitution of “£0.58” for “£0.50”.

These Regulations were made to set out a revised fee for the EEC initial verification of non-automatic weighing machines.
