S.I. No. 247/1981 - Trade Union Act, 1941 (Revocation of Negotiation Licence) (No. 4) Order, 1981.


I, TOM NOLAN. Minister for Labour, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 17 of the Trade Union Act, 1941 (No. 22 of 1941), and the Labour (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1966 ( S.I. No. 164 of 1966 ), and being satisfied that the holder of the negotiation licence hereinafter referred to has ceased to be an authorised trade union within the meaning of the said Act, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Trade Union Act, 1941 (Revocation of Negotiation Licence) (No. 4) Order, 1981.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 24th day of June, 1981.

3. The negotiation licence granted to The Master Pawn-brokers' Union on the 28th day of September, 1943, is hereby revoked.
