I, GENE FITZGERALD, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 ( I ) of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (Appointed Day) (Córas Iompair Éireann) Order, 1980.

2. The 18th day of June, 1980, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of section 6 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), in relation to Córas Iompair Éireann.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order prescribes the appointed day for determining election years for the purposes of Section 6 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 , in relation to Córas Iompair Éireann.
