SALES OF SALMON (ATTRIBUTABLE PRICE), REGULATIONS, 1980.

I, PATRICK POWER, Minister for Fisheries and Forestry, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 55 (3) of the Fisheries Act, 1980 (No. 1 of 1980 ), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ) (as adapted by the Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1978 ( S.I. No. 195 of 1978 )), and after consultation with the Minister for Finance, hereby, having taken into account the market prices current in the State for first or only sales of salmon, make the following Regulations:—

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Sales of Salmon (Attributable Price), Regulations, 1980.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 26th day of May, 1980.

2. The price to be attributed to every first or only sale of salmon in the case of sales where the purchaser is a purchaser outside the State shall be £3.64 per kilogram (£1.65 per pound).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These regulations fix the price attributable (for the purpose of assessment of salmon levy) to every first or only sale of salmon in the case of sales where the purchaser (on the first or only sale) is a purchaser outside the State.
