CONTROL OF EXPORTS (SOUTHERN RHODESIA) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1980.

I, DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), section 2 of the Control of Exports (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1956 (No. 1 of 1956) (which Act is continued in force by the Control of Exports (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1956 (Continuance) Act, 1977 (No. 26 of 1977)), the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Transfer of Powers) Order, 1956 ( S.I. No. 52 of 1956 ) (as amended by the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Transfer of Powers) Order, 1956 (Amendment) Order, 1963 ( S.I. No. 21 of 1963 )), and the Industry and Commerce (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 306 of 1977 ), and after consultation with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Exports (Southern Rhodesia) (Revocation) Order, 1980.

2. The Control of Exports (Southern Rhodesia) Order, 1979 ( S.I. No. 213 of 1979 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to revoke the Control of Exports (Southern Rhodesia) Order, 1979, which prohibited exports to Southern Rhodesia.
