EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (MARKETING OF FERTILISERS) REGULATIONS, 1979.

I, RAY MAC SHARRY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Council Directive No. 76/116/EEC (a) hereby make the following regulations:

(a) OJ. No. L24/21, 30.1.1976.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Marketing of Fertilisers) Regulations, 1979.

2. The Schedule to the European Communities (Marketing of Fertilisers) Regulations, 1978 ( S.I. No. 13 of 1978 ), is hereby amended by the substitution of the following Part for Part IV:

3. References in the European Communities (Sampling and Analysis of Fertilisers) Regulations, 1978 ( S.I. No. 12 of 1978 ), to the European Communities (Marketing of Fertilisers) Regulations, 1978, shall be construed as references to those Regulations as amended by these Regulations.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
