REDUNDANCY CONTRIBUTIONS (METHOD OF PAYMENT) (REVOCATION) REGULATIONS, 1979.

I, GENE FITZGERALD, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 33 (2) of the Redundancy Payments Act, 1967 (No. 21 of 1967), hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Redundancy Contributions (Method of Payment) (Revocation) Regulations, 1979.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 6th day of April, 1979.

3. The Redundancy Contributions (Method of Payment) Regulations, 1968 ( S.I. No. 272 of 1968 ), are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these regulations is that on and from 6th April, 1979 redundancy contributions will no longer be collected on a flat-rate basis as an element of the Social Welfare Insurance Stamp.
