DISEASES OF ANIMALS ACT, 1966 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1978.

I, JAMES GIBBONS, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), as adapted by the Agriculture and Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 31 of 1977 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Commencement) Order, 1978.

2. The 19th day of July, 1978, is hereby appointed as the day on which sections 14 , 15 , 17 , 26 , 35 , 36 , 37 , 38 , 39 , 40 and 41 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring into operation sections 14 , 15 , 17 , 26 , 35 , 36 , 37 , 38 , 39 , 40 and 41 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966).
