LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (PART OF COUNTY OF CORK) ORDER, 1978. | ||
The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (No. 3 of 1948) hereby orders as follows: 1. This order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (Section 34) (Part of County Cork) Order, 1978. 2. On the seventh day after the date of this Order section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 shall come into operation in the following parts of the County Health District of South Cork:— | ||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. | ||
The effect of this Order is to bring section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 into operation in the parts of the Country Health District of Cork set out in Article 2 of the Order. Section 34 authorises a sanitary authority to grant to the occupier of land or with the consent of the occupier to a camping organisation, a licence authorising the use during a specified period of twelve consecutive months of land for camping. |
