INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1969 (DESIGNATED AREAS) ORDER, 1977.

I, DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (No. 32 of 1969), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (Designated Areas) Order, 1977.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 26th day of September, 1977.

3. The area consisting of the district electoral divisions of Cooleagh, Killenaule, Ballingarry, Ballyphilip, Crohane, Modeshil, New Birmingham, Buolick, Poyntstown, Drangan and Mullinahone (all of which are situated in the county of Tipperary) is hereby declared to be a designated area for the period of one year commencing at the commencement of this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to declare the area comprising the electoral divisions listed to be a designated area for the purposes of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 for a period of one year, commencing on 26th September, 1977.
