HARBOURS ACT, 1946 (COMMENCEMENT OF PART VII) (BANTRY BAY HARBOUR COMMISSIONERS) ORDER, 1977.

I, TOM FITZPATRICK, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 (2) of the Harbours Act, 1976 (No. 5 of 1976), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Harbours Act, 1946 (Commencement of Part VII) (Bantry Bay Harbour Commissioners) Order, 1977.

2. The 25th day of May, 1977, is hereby appointed as the day on which Part VII of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), shall come into operation in respect of the Bantry Bay Harbour Commissioners.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation, in respect of the Bantry Bay Harbour Commissioners, Part VII of the Harbours Act, 1946 , which deals with finance and accounts of a harbour authority.
