MAXIMUM PRICES (KEROSENE) ORDER, 1977

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 22A and 22C (inserted by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965) of the Prices Act, 1958 (No. 4 of 1958), as amended by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1972 (No. 20 of 1972), and the Prices Stabilisation Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 96 of 1973 ), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Kerosene) Order, 1977.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 3rd day of February, 1977.

3. The maximum price at which kerosene (paraffin oil) may be sold by retail shall be a price calculated at the rate of 45.5p per gallon.

4. The Maximum Prices (Kerosene) (No. 4) Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 267 of 1976 ), is hereby revoked.
