12.—(1) Section 21 (1) of the Social Welfare Act, 1970 , which provides for old age (care) allowance, is hereby amended by the substitution of “£6.55” for “£6.00” (inserted by the Regulations of 1976). | |
(2) This section shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1977. |
