PATENTS ACT, 1964 (SECTION 93) (DECLARATION) ORDER, 1976.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 93 (1) of the Patents Act, 1964 (No. 12 of 1964), and with a view to the fulfilment of an arrangement with the Government of India concerning the protection of inventions, hereby made the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Patents Act, 1964 (Section 93) (Declaration) Order, 1976.

2. It is hereby declared that India is a convention country for the purposes of the Patents Act, 1964 (No. 12 of 1964).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The Order declares India to be a Convention Country for the purposes of the Patents Act, 1964 .
