CONTROL OF EXPORTS (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1976.

I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 2 of the Control of Exports (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1956 (No. 1 of 1956), which Act is continued in force by the Control of Exports (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1956 (Continuance) Act, 1974 (No. 5 of 1974), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Control of Exports (Amendment) Order, 1976.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 19th day of December, 1976.

2. The Control of Exports Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 132 of 1976 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for subparagraphs ( f ) and (g) of paragraph 6 of the following:

"or ( f ) are being re-exported after having been temporarily imported under and in accordance with an international convention to which the State is a party".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to extend the Control of Exports Order, 1976, to goods

(1) consigned from outside the State which are imported into the Customs-free Airport at Shannon through another part of the State,

(2) consigned from the Customs-free Airport at Shannon to a destination outside the State through another part of the State.
