INDUSTRIAL TRAINING (PRINTING AND PAPER COMMITTEE) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1976.

An Chomhairle Oiliúna, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 24 of the Industrial Training Act, 1967 (No. 5 of 1967), hereby makes the following order:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Training (Printing and Paper Committee) (Amendment) Order, 1976.

2. In this Order "the Order of 1970" means the Industrial Training (Printing and Paper Committee) Order, 1970.

3. The Order of 1970 and this Order may be cited together as the Industrial Training (Printing and Paper Committee) Orders, 1970 and 1976.

4. Article 3 of the Order of 1970 is hereby amended by the substitution of "twenty-two" for "twenty".

5. The following Article is hereby substituted for Article 5 of the Order of 1970:

"5. The ordinary members of the Committee shall include ten workers' members, ten employers' members, one educational member and one other ordinary member."

6. Article 6, paragraph (b) of the Order of 1970 is hereby amended by the substitution of "ten" for "nine".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

An Chomhairle Oiliúna (The Industrial Training Authority) was established under the Industrial Training Act, 1967 , to promote training in industry and commerce.

The Industrial Training (Printing and Paper Committee) Order, 1970 ( S.I. No. 87 of 1970 ) established an industrial training committee to be known as the Printing and Paper Industry Training Committee, to advise and assist An Chomhairle as respects the performance of its functions.

This Order amends the Industrial Training (Printing and Paper Committee) Order, 1970, by increasing the number of committee members to twenty-two ordinary members.
