CRIMINAL LAW (JURISDICTION) ACT, 1976 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1976

I, PATRICK COONEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 22 (2) of the Criminal Law (Jurisdiction) Act, 1976 (No. 14 of 1976), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Law (Jurisdiction) Act, 1976 (Commencement) Order, 1976.

2. The 1st day of June, 1976, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Criminal Law (Jurisdiction) Act, 1976 (No. 14 of 1976), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings the Criminal Law (Jurisdiction) Act 1976 into operation on 1st June 1976.
