MAXIMUM PRICES (KEROSENE) ORDER, 1976.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 22A and 22C (inserted by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965)) of the Prices Act, 1958 (No. 4 of 1958), as amended by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1972 (No. 20 of 1972), and the Prices Stabilisation Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 96 of 1973 ), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Kerosene) Order, 1976.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 31st day of January, 1976.

3. The maximum price at which kerosene (paraffin oil) may be sold by retail shall be a price calculated at the rate of—

( a ) 35½p per gallon, if the kerosene is delivered to the customer,

or

( b ) 34½p per gallon, in all other cases.

4. The Maximum Prices (Kerosene) (No. 2) Order, 1975 ( S.I. No. 299 of 1975 ), is hereby revoked.
