STANDARD MARK (GYPSUM PLASTERS) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1975.

I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 24 (4) of the Industrial Research and Standards Act, 1961 (No. 20 of 1961), hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Standard Mark (Gypsum Plasters) (Revocation) Order, 1975.

2. The Standard Mark (Gypsum Plasters) Order, 1951 ( S.I. No. 386 of 1951 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Irish Standard Specification No. 27:1950 on Gypsum Plasters is being revoked and is being replaced by a new standard which will take account of technical developments and of the changeover to the metric system. The purpose of this order is to revoke the Standard Mark (Gypsum Plasters) Order 1951 which prescribed a Standard Mark for use in connection with I.S. 27:1950.
