PENSIONS (INCREASE) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1975.

I, RICHIE RYAN, Minister for the Public Service, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 29 of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1964 (No. 10 of 1964), and the Public Service (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 294 of 1973 ), hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Pensions (Increase) (No. 2) Regulations, 1975.

2. For the purposes of these Regulations and subsequent Regulations under section 29 of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1964 (No. 10 of 1964), the Schedule to that Act shall have effect, with effect from the 1st day of July, 1974, as if the following paragraph were added to Part 1 of that Schedule—

"( x ) A pension granted under section 29 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 (No. 24 of 1963)."

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations provide for the addition to the Schedule to the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1964 , of the pensions mentioned in Paragraph 2 of these Regulations.
