SOCIAL WELFARE (PERSONS TREATED AS EMPLOYERS) REGULATIONS, 1975.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (4) of section 2 and section 3 of the Social Welfare Act, 1952 (No. 11 of 1952), hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Welfare (Persons Treated as Employers) Regulations, 1975.

(2) These Regulations and the Social Welfare (Persons Treated as Employers) Regulations, 1953 to 1967, may be cited collectively as the Social Welfare (Persons Treated as Employers) Regulations, 1953 to 1975.

2. In relation to the employment specified in the first column of the Schedule to these Regulations, the person specified opposite thereto in the second column shall for the purposes of the Social Welfare Acts, 1952 to 1975, be treated as the employer of the employed contributor employed in that employment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations specify the Representative Church Body as the person to be treated for the purposes of the Social Welfare Acts, 1952 to 1975, as the employer of a person employed as a minister of religion of the Church of Ireland.
