CONTROL OF EXPORTS ORDER, 1974.

I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Control of Exports (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1956 (No. 1 of 1956 ), which Act is continued in force by the Control of Exports (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1956 (Continuance) Act, 1974 (No. 5 of 1974), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Control of Exports Order, 1974.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 17th day of June, 1974.

2. The exportation of sisal baler and binder twine is hereby prohibited save under and in accordance with a licence issued by the Minister for Industry and Commerce under this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to enable the Minister for Industry and Commerce to control the export to all countries of the goods specified in the Order.
