NATIONAL DRUGS ADVISORY BOARD (ESTABLISHMENT) ORDER, 1966 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1974.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 3 to 6 of the Health (Corporate Bodies) Act, 1961 (No. 27 of 1961), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the National Drugs Advisory Board (Establishment) Order, 1966, (Amendment) Order, 1974.

2. Paragraph 4 of the National Drugs Advisory Board (Establishment) Order, 1966 is hereby amended by the substitution for sub-paragraph (e) of the following sub-paragraph:—

"( e ) if requested by the Minister, to advise on the licensing of the manufacture, importation, distribution and sale of drugs, on the standards of manufacturing practice (including quality control) of manufacturers of drugs and on the certification for export purposes or for any other purposes of drugs."

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to empower the National Drugs Advisory Board to advise the Minister on arrangements for licensing the manufacture, importation and sale of drugs and on the certification of drugs for certain other purposes.
