CORK BOARD OF CONSERVATORS (DISSOLUTION) ORDER, 1973.

Whereas the Board of Conservators for the No. 5 or Cork Fishery District has wilfully neglected to comply with Article 4 of the Control of Fishing for Salmon Order, 1972 ( S.I. No. 298 of 1972 ), I, MICHAEL PAT MURPHY, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 51 of the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959), the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1965 ( S.I. No. 83 of 1965 ) (as adapted by the Agriculture (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1965 ( S.I. No. 146 of 1965 )), and the Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 93 of 1973 ), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Cork Board of Conservators (Dissolution) Order, 1973.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 15th day of October, 1973.

3. The Board of Conservators for the No. 5 or Cork Fishery District is hereby dissolved and the funds, books and other property and the several powers, duties and liabilities of the said board are hereby transferred to Mr. Garrett E. Byrne, Inland Fisheries Division, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, O'Connell Bridge House, Dublin 2, who is hereby appointed to perform the duties of the said board.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The Order provides for the dissolution of the Cork Board of Conservators and the appointment of an Administrator to perform the duties of the board.
