REGULATION OF BANKS (REMUNERATION AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT) (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) ACT, 1973 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1973.

I, MICHAEL O'LEARY, Minister for Labour, being satisfied that in order to maintain, in the national interest, general adherence to the National Agreements, it is necessary for me to do so, hereby, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 of the Regulation of Banks (Remuneration and Conditions of Employment) (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1973 (No. 12 of 1973), order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Regulation of Banks (Remuneration and Conditions of Employment) (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1973 (Commencement) Order, 1973.

2. The 13th day of July, 1973, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Regulation of Banks (Remuneration and Conditions of Employment) (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1973 (No. 12 of 1973), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring the Regulation of Banks (Remuneration and Conditions of Employment) (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1973 into operation.
