PIGS AND BACON COMMISSION (NOMINATING BODIES) (PIG PRODUCERS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1973.

I, MARK CLINTON, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by paragraph (d) of subsection (3) (inserted by section 7 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (No. 14 of 1961)) of section 4 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 35 of 1939), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Pigs and Bacon Commission (Nominating Bodies) (Pig Producers) (Amendment) Order, 1973.

(2) The Pigs and Bacon Commission (Nominating Bodies) (Pig Producers) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 118 of 1961 ), the Pigs and Bacon Commission (Nominating Bodies) (Pig Producers) (Amendment) Order, 1964 ( S.I. No. 159 of 1964 ), and this Order may be cited together as the Pigs and Bacon Commission (Nominating Bodies) (Pig Producers) Orders, 1961 to 1973.

2. The Pigs and Bacon Commission (Nominating Bodies) (Pig Producers) Order, 1961, shall have effect as if the bodies specified in Part I of the Schedule to this Order (being bodies that the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries considers to be representative of the interests of pig producers) were included among the bodies specified in the Schedule to that Order (as amended by Article 2 of the Pigs and Bacon Commission (Nominating Bodies) (Pig Producers) (Amendment) Order, 1964) and the bodies specified in Part II of the Schedule to this Order were not so included.

National Farmers' Association.

Irish Sugar Beet Growers' Association.
