FACTORIES (MISCELLANEOUS ORDERS AND REGULATIONS) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1973.

I, MICHAEL O'LEARY, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 8 of the Factories Act, 1955 (No. 10 of 1955), and the Labour (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1966 ( S.I. No. 164 of 1966 ), hereby make the following Order:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Factories (Miscellaneous Orders and Regulations) (Revocation) Order, 1973.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of May, 1973.

2. The following are hereby revoked:

( a ) Regulations for the Process of File-cutting by Hand, 1903, (S.R. & O., No. 507 of 1903) (Dated the 19th June, 1903);

( b ) Order in regard to the Manufacture of Tin or Terne Plate, 1917 (S.R. & O., No. 1035 of 1917) (Dated the 5th October, 1917);

( c ) Order in regard to the Supply of Drinking Water at Certain Factories and Workshops, 1917 (S.R. & O., No. 1068 of 1917) (Dated the 9th October, 1917);

( d ) Order in regard to Ambulance and First Aid Arrangements at Blast Furnaces, Copper Mills, Foundries and Metal Works, 1917 (S.R. & O., No. 1067 of 1917) (Dated the 12th October, 1917);

( e ) Order for Securing the Welfare of Female Workers Employed in Factories, or Parts of Factories in which the Process in Turning or Machining Shells or Shell Bodies is Carried on, 1918 (S.R. & O., No. 824 of 1918) (Dated the 3rd July, 1918); and

( f ) Order Extending the Application of Section 7 of the Police, Factories, etc. (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1916, to the Provision of Restrooms, 1920 (S.R. & O., No. 624 of 1920) (Dated the 16th April, 1920).
