EXPLANATORY NOTE

An Chomhairle Oiliúna (The Industrial Training Authority) was established under the Industrial Training Act, 1967 , to promote training in industry and commerce.

The Industrial Training (Construction Committee) Order, 1969 ( S.I. No. 172 of 1969 ) established an industrial training committee, to be known as the Construction Industry Training Committee, to advise and assist An Chomhairle as respects the performance of its functions.

This Order amends the Industrial Training (Construction Committee) Order, 1969, by increasing the number of committee members to thirty-four ordinary members.
