HIRE-PURCHASE AND CREDIT SALE (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1971.

I, SEOIRSE Ó COLLA, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Hire-Purchase (Amendment) Act, 1960 (No. 15 of 1960), and the Hire-Purchase (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1968 ( S.I. No. 158 of 1968 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Hire-Purchase and Credit Sale (Revocation) Order, 1971.

2. The Hire-Purchase and Credit Sale Order, 1968 ( S.I. No. 225 of 1968 ), the Hire-Purchase and Credit Sale (No. 2) Order, 1968 ( S.I. No. 276 of 1968 ), and the Hire-Purchase and Credit Sale Order, 1970 ( S.I. No. 15 of 1970 ), are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order removes the restrictions on hire-purchase and credit sale transactions imposed by the Hire-Purchase and Credit Sale Orders, 1968 and 1970.
