DISTRICT COURT AREAS (VARIATION OF DAYS AND HOURS) (NO. 5) ORDER, 1971.

I, DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 26 (1) (f) of the Courts of Justice Act, 1953 (No. 32 of 1953), and after consultation with the President of the District Court, hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 5) Order, 1971.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1971.

2. The days and hours for holding the District Court (for the purposes of the transaction of the business of the District Court exercising its summary jurisdiction) in the district court area of Kilmainham shall, in lieu of the days and hours specified in column (4) at reference number 76 in the First Schedule to the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 5 of 1961 ) (as amended by the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) Order, 1962 ( S.I. No. 165 of 1962 )), be the first, second, third and fourth Monday, the first, second, third and fourth Tuesday, the first, second, third and fourth Thursday and the first, second, third and fourth Friday in each month at 10.30 a.m., 11.00 a.m., 11.30 a.m., 12.00 noon, 2.00 p.m., 2.30 p.m., 3.00 p.m. and 3.30 p.m.

3. Business transacted in the District Court Area of Kilmainham which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.
