5.—Section 12 of the Act of 1936 is hereby amended by the substitution of “one thousand pounds” for “two hundred pounds” (inserted by the Act of 1953) in each place where it occurs, “two thousand pounds” for “six hundred pounds” (inserted by the Act of 1953) in each place where it occurs and “two hundred and fifty pounds” for “fifty pounds” (inserted by the Act of 1953) in each place where it occurs.
