MINES AND QUARRIES ACT, 1965 (BIRTH CERTIFICATES) REGULATIONS, 1970.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 150 of the Mines and Quarries Act, 1965 (No. 7 of 1965), with the consent of the Minister for Labour and the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Mines and Quarries Act, 1965 (Birth Certificates) Regulations, 1970.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st June, 1970.

3. The appointed fee for the purposes of section 150 of the Mines and Quarries Act, 1965 shall be one shilling for each certified copy of an entry in a register of births.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These regulations fix at one shilling the fee for obtaining a birth certificate for the purposes of the Mines and Quarries Act, 1965 .
