S.I. No. 266/1969 - Bord na Móna (Deferment of Repayment of Advances) Order, 1969.

I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Turf Development Act, 1968 (No. 28 of 1968), and after consultation with the Minister for Transport and Power in respect of the year commenced on the 1st day of April, 1969, hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Bord na Móna (Deferment of Repayment of Advances) Order, 1969.

2. The deferment by Bord na Móna until the 31st day of March, 1970, of payment of a sum of £508,096 17s 0d due by Bord na Mona in repayment of sums advanced to Bord na Móna under section 53 of the Turf Development Act, 1946 (No. 10 of 1946) is hereby permitted.

The purpose of this Order is to defer repayment by Bord na Móna of certain moneys advanced by the Exchequer.
