NELSON PILLAR ACT, 1969 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1969.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 5 of the Nelson Pillar Act, 1969 (No. 9 of 1969) hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Nelson Pillar Act, 1969 (Commencement) Order, 1969.

2. The Nelson Pillar Act, 1969 shall come into operation on the 3rd day of June, 1969.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings the Nelson Pillar Act, 1969 into force with effect from 3rd June, thus vesting the site of the Pillar in Dublin Corporation as from that date.
